🌉 Bridging Silicon Valley and Spain: building not just technology, but also lasting networks!

It is important to celebrate so much Spanish talent working and creating in Silicon Valley, and so the The California – Spain Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual celebration.

What a team! Back in 2020, I joined the Board of Directors of the California-Spain Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco, working with an amazing group of Spanish leaders and friends across tech giants, venture capital and startups: Rocio Esteve (Co-founder of CSCC), Cristina Bondolowski (then at @HP), Hugo Giralt Echevarria (founder of propelland), Pepe Agell (Venture Capital Pear VC), Francisco Javier García Calvo (then at Google), Javier Cortes (then at Flexport), among other “rockstars”.

Our mission was clear: accelerate cross-border innovation, foster executive knowledge-sharing, and build tangible bridges for startups (now with incredible examples like HappyRobot). The current Board continues to champion the connections and innovation that strengthen the California–Spain ecosystem. Their upcoming CSCC Gala is scheduled for November 7th. As the United States commemorates its 250th Anniversary, the 2026 Gala will also celebrate the enduring ties between Spain and California.

🚀 Congratulations to all the leaders for continuing to elevate this community and drive real strategic impact!
