We just returned from the Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, and it was an incredible experience sharing our perspectives with other CIOs and CDOs, thanks to CIONET Spain and Mobile World Capital Barcelona. From the perspective of the CIOs and CDOs, here are 3 main technological and practical priorities that stood out:
1️⃣ Investment in Agentic AI and human-machine collaboration: Balancing automation with the development of human skills that provide strategic differentiation is key. Agentic AI not only optimizes processes but also enhances creativity and innovation.
2️⃣ Resilient and agile Applied AI: With an Applied AI approach, we are focused on the practical implementation of technologies to solve real-world problems. Selecting the right partners, building intelligent platforms, and adopting hybrid infrastructures that adapt to changing scenarios is essential to maintain agility and security in an ever-evolving environment.
3️⃣ AI + Cyber rule: AI for cybersecurity and cyber resilience is becoming increasingly important. Leveraging AI to predict and prevent cyber threats ensures robust security measures and enhances cyber resilience.
