In the face of the revolution that Artificial Intelligence (#AI) is opening up in the industry, we had the opportunity to debate with colleagues from other companies for El Economista about the historical transformation that AI is having, both for business growth and for the empowerment of people.
We talked about a positive, sustainable, and responsible AI. This is one of the greatest advances of recent decades, comparable to the impact that the steam engine had in its time. This is how the industrial sector defines AI, as sustainable, positive, inclusive, transparent, value-generating, and a growth engine. These are some of the conclusions of the Challenges of AI in Industry observatory, organized by elEconomista.es.
From Cepsa, our #GreenDigital movement highlights how positive AI is enabling digital transformation as an engine of the energy transition. It is also a great opportunity to empower all colleagues as “digital heroes,” and our customers in this time of transformation. In addition to the opportunities it offers, AI also presents challenges that companies must face to be at the forefront of digitization and continue to grow. One of these challenges is to use AI to be more sustainable, reducing our emissions and those of our customers, and preserving an ethical and responsible use of it. At Cepsa, we have a cross-cutting Responsible AI group and an important #CDX training offer.
In short, we talked about how AI is a fundamental tool that offers great opportunities for companies and people. Those who adapt quickly to change will be the big winners of this new industrial revolution.
Ante la revolución que abre la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en la industria, tuvimos la oportunidad de debatir para El Economista con compañeros de otras empresas sobre la transformación histórica que está teniendo la Inteligencia Artificial, tanto para el crecimiento de los negocio como el empoderamiento de las personas.
Hablamos de una IA positiva, sostenible y responsable. Este es uno de los mayores avances de las últimas décadas, comparable al impacto que tuvo la máquina de vapor en su época. Así lo afirma el sector industrial, que define a la IA como sostenible, positiva, inclusiva, transparente, generadora de valor y motor de crecimiento. También es una gran oportunidad para empoderar a todos los compañeros y a nuestros clientes en este tiempo de transformación. Además de las oportunidades que ofrece, la IA también presenta grandes retos a los que las empresas deben hacer frente para estar a la vanguardia de la digitalización y continuar con su crecimiento. Uno de estos retos es utilizar la IA para ser más sostenibles, reduciendo nuestras emisiones y las de nuestros clientes, y preservar un uso ético y responsible de la misma.
En definitiva, vimos como la IA es una herramienta fundamental que ofrece grandes oportunidades para las empresas y para las personas. Aquellas que se adapten rápidamente al cambio serán las grandes ganadoras de esta nueva revolución industrial.
